These jobs, probably in Auckland, were advertised in yesterday's Weekend Herald (22 February, 2014). It's a little bit confusing, but someone here might be interested in finding out more ...


[b]PB Technologies

Job Vacancy / Technician[/b]

3 Posititons: Smart Phone / Tablet / Notebook Technicians

Vacancy: 3 positions each, total 9 positions available

Duties:
- Diagnse fault
- Fault analysis
- chipset replacement and soldering
- Experience in maintenance
- Has knowledge of operating systems and related minor software
- Notebook screen replacement
- Experience in iOS, Microsoft, and Android systems
- Screen replacements
- Support other team members if necessary

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Comuting, IT, ICT (Level 7) qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in notebook services
- Good English communication skills for both speaking and writing
- Proactive and can do attitude
- Good manner for customer service
- Good to have experience in retail sales

Salary + Bonus apply for right candidates.

Lets hope they mean computing, not comuting. Not flash considering the requirement for good written English!

Hey man they are looking for someone with good English, how is having good English a prerequisite for asking for that? :)

Sorry, that one was my own typo (and I can't Edit it) ... but I did fix a few other grammatical errors from the original advert, so someone with "good written English" is still needed at PB Tech. :-)
