Now we all know that the movie industry takes a lot of artistic licensee when they show technology on TV. Anyone who has watched an episode of Criminal Minds and seen the miracles that the research tec manages to glean from the world of databases will know what I mean. "Garcia? see if the Unsubs next door neighbor was getting a copy of the new york times on a Wednesday?" 5 seconds later "He was? and it was delivered to his back door? Ok Thanks"
All that aside
A friend showed me how good dragon dictate was now and I regularly use Google now. So we know they have made great strides in voice recognition.
My question (Damm he goes on !)
Does sanyone use a dictaphone type device that after dictation they holster in a desktop mount or it seamlessly transfers by wireless or Bluetooth the recording. That then opens text pad that transposes the spoken word to the text pad. Without reinventing the wheel.
Are we there yet?
