As in previous years, this will be the "1-Day Bag of Crap" thread... What did you get with yours?

I think the novelty of that sort of thing has worn off. Better things to spend money on than unpopular goods. Most people I know who have gotten it in the past have ended up with stuff they don't want, such as cheap candy or ugly tees, so they wouldn't participate either. I think a couple of lotto tickets are a better buy, at least you have a chance to win a million dollars.

I was about to order a bunch of them for me, my partner and the sprogs, but noted the comment re previous years' threads here on GZ. I read through these threads, and doing so has completely put me off buying them now! Going by the responses it appears that - in most cases - it's an appropriately named sale; getting something of value and/or use appears to be rare.

... and that may be more useful than many of the things that people seem to get! A bottle of shampoo - really? 2kg of M&M knock-offs? (Doubt I'd even use those as compost!)
