Oh yes I can,

It was a blatant attempt to cash in on the sucess of Tron and deservidly was cancelled after a single short season,

Might not be quite 'old school' enough, but my morning jog is currently on the treadmill in front of a 45 minute MacGyver episode.  7 seasons will keep me going for a while, and it stands the test of time much better than Knight Rider IMHO.

I remember being quite small and enjoying "BJ & the Bear"...  Bear was a chimp or orangutan if I remember correctly.

I don't remember Viper well, but remember enjoying it.

If you liked that you will probably like the new show they are [hopefully] making, Nocturnal.

The one I want re-run is BJ and the Bear. I can barely remember it (couldn't help) but think there was an ape and that is always a good start.

Yeah, trucks and an ape.

And recently onsale at JB HIFI for $10/ season, can't really beat that,  currently backing it up to our media player to keep the shiny discs out of the reach of grubby little paws....

If you want to see something seriously devoted, check out the below link where someone has gone out and assembled actual photos of the filming locations , with many from the same angle as used in the TV show....

Wow $10 per season? I'll go and have a look this weekend. Backing up your DVDs? That's naughty! I do the exact same thing and put the originals away. VHS may not have been the flashest technology, but they kept on going and going (as long as the machine got an occasional head clean). 'Family DVDs' just don't last at our place.

I hit 40 last weekend and am feeling a bit creaky. Time to buy a convertible and get a young blonde girlfriend I think. I'm sure the Mrs will understand. :oP

That is no different to shows today though, ripping off popular subjects. In the case of automan, they did involve the tron people in it's production.
