I usually find NZ mice to be very tasty. I guess I need to broaden my culinary horizons and try a classic European one.

Not to mention the unmentionable font and problematic keming.

Cheers,

"Attention to detail, Timothy - attention to detail."

Unless of course it is a re-creation of a much earlier Italian dish, usually served by slaves, the edible dormouse.

I showed this pic of the dessert menu to Blackie:

He was very excited and wants to come along with us for dessert next time.

Being a south islander $12.00 for dessert would also be considered a typo... Most places here charge around $8.00

I'm thinking from the use of that font, and the 'menu in a pouch' style, it isn't a flash Auckland restaurant either.

$12 isn't too bad, so long as no mice were harmed in the making of the dessert.

The restaurant is a pretty good quality one in Palmerston North (where I live). I won't name it as this is only about a menu typo really. Their food and service are great.

Yes, they have a menu in a pouch arrangement and it certainly could be presented a bit better (font, kerning, spelling). It's certainly not the first eatery that I've been to with bad spelling and/or grammar in the menu.

Those are usually the best kind. My top 3 favourite places feature menus with largely unpronounceable items served by staff who, if perhaps not fluent in English, really understand the meaning of friendly and prompt service which makes me a happy camper.

Here we have 'Secrete' and 'chef's special sauce' in the same sentence. I don't even.
