Just to get this out of the way, kava is not affected by the psychoactives bill. It's classed as food.    I bought some kava from Guruji Indian Supermarket, seemed to be the only place in Chirstchurch with it. Anyway, it wasn't very potent. I used to order the extract from shaman.co.nz, that stuff was really good but it's out of stock.

Anyone bought decent kava online or in Christchurch?

How do you normally take your Kava? Pill form or a brew?
I normally get it from a local dairy for $5.
Out of curiosity why do you take it?

Head down to your local Methodist Church in the morning and ask the first Fijian you see. They'll set you in the right direction. Say Vinaka vaka levu, once you've got directions. You'll probably find you've also got yourself a drinking partner for life.
