Does the terrible use of tech annoy anyone else?
I know it is just a movie, but it bugs me that the premise is that these people made a sex tape and it uploaded to iCloud, fine, but then they can't delete it and for some reason, put their personal iCloud account onto phones and tablets given to family friends and the mailman. How dumb do movie producers think people are?

People are dumb. It's a fact.

Most people won't break the use of the technology down enough to think about it that way.
...Trying to explain the technological impossibility of the CSI satellite zoom functions was almost impossible.  To this day, they don't fully understand it's just movie magic.

I take it as a challenge to derive a believable explanation for the events depicted, but within the constraints of the movie reality. Yes, these are skills I developed watching sci-fi movies. Try it, it works.
