We've just settled our earthquake claim from Feb 22 2012. Posted the signed documents and statutory declarations via snail mail this afternoon. It was a strange feeling letting go of the envelope. The ongoing battles, firstly with EQC, then with the insurance company have dominated our lives for more than 2 years.

You are 100% correct.
I have lost track. Several milestone events have happened over the 3 years - that have become a bit of a blur.

Thanks. At my age every hair is already grey. 1246 extra grey hairs would be nice - if they could kindly arrange themselves neatly on a thinning patch right in the middle. Alas - the only new grey hairs I seem to get these days sprout from strange places where I don't want them at all.
