Is it just me that nzpost.co.nz has taken a dislike to, or is it requiring everybody to login now to even get to the homepage

Which part of the site are you trying to look like? Looks fine to me.

Trying to access any page, including the homepage (even with a unique query string to get around any caching issues), redirects me to the login page.

I can only guess that it knows I have an account from a cookie, and is now forcing anybody with an account to login.

Rude.

I have an account and don't have this problem. If I log in then log out, I don't get a request to log back in. Unable to recreate what you're seeing at all.

I logged in as it demanded, then logged out, and it now allows me to view the site without being logged in.

So I revise my conclusion, because I may have been logged in when I last used the site a couple days ago, and my session timed out without explicitly logging out, it apparently demanded I login again before I could see anything (and didn't provide a logout link either).  Crazy.
