Anyone know how the monthly pass for AT works ? If I buy a pass ahead of my current one expiring, what happens - I effectively "lose" the current pass and start from the new one ? Or is the system clever enough to work out Im just buying ahead ?

ie:
I buy a pass on the 20th of June - its due to expire 19th July. So on the 15th July I buy another monthly pass.  Does the new one now have an expiry of 14th August ? Or the 18th August ?

TIA :)

The second monthly pass will only get activated once you tag on after the current pass has expired.

If your current pass expires on 19th July, and the next time you travel is on the 20th , 20th July will be the start date of your second pass. And it will expire on the 19th August.

So, the second monthly pass gets gets activated the date of the next tag on after you current pass expires. Say, if you don't travel on AT buses until 23rd July, after your pass expired on 19th July, your new monthly pass gets activated on 23rd July and will last a month from 23rd July.

Cheers
