The reporter sent an email to NZtimbo in Outram, inviting them to comment on the article (as they were the true winners) but by the time NZTimbo could load his email inbox, his email service was deactivated due to inactivity.

I live in Mosgiel, Outram is close.
Dunedin is 'ok' but I think Wellington is nicer.

Whilst I would agree the Otago Peninsular is very beautiful, Dunedin itself would not qualify for that description IMV.

Reminds me of some Red Brick university town in the UK like Leicester - all grotty pubs promoting cheap booze and suburbs full of run down, untidy houses with piles of beer bottles outside!
