Since it's a sci-fi, we'll obviously be battling the evil aliens that are lining up all our buildings - once too many are in a row, they *disappear*! surprised

Big alien ships that look like Tetris blocks are trying to land on earth, and humans fight back by wiping out a line of them at a time.

Sounds more like Space Invaders now Ive typed it out...
