I probably spelled that wrong embarassed

So I am looking for some information, Where do you buy cartoons as in 10+ packs of cigarettes in NZ? I remember back in the day when my father used to smoke he would have these cartoons stashed in his closet. I have a feeling its somewhat cheaper that way as saw a website online that said $70 for a pack of 10's however the site is not working.

I would like to order online or if anybody here has any links I would appreciate it. Would probably like Dunhills but won't mind Camels or something else.

cheers

Cartons.

I doubt you can buy cigarettes on line in nz as they would have to have someway of preventing under age people from buying them. ie credit cards only or something similar.

in the past, the online shopping from countdown supermarket has allowed you to purchase by the carton, not sure if they still do

yeah, it wont be cheaper anywhere, except DutyFree when travelling

and the government has already said that they want to make NZ smokefree by 2025, which means increasing the tax on tobacco products to a point where everyone just gives up due to cost.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/7826429/Price-hike-for-cigarettes  this link from 2012 shows that they are acutally ahead of target, as a pack of 20 Dunhill Premier, is already $20.20 from the average service station.

After your first cigarette post I thought you'd reached the point where you stated that you didn't like smoking tobacco. Now you're worried about the price. Get ready for the next bad news, the money is the least of your problems if you keep going.

And they're even lowering the duty free limit that you can bring in.

that's crazy. good for the cause but wow....  just thinking about how the crimerate is gonna spike in 2024...  when every dairy/servo gets knocked over for their smokes to sell on the black market after it's all banned

If anybody here imported or has any friends or relatives who brings some in once a while, let me know, may wana try. I am on Dunhill reds right now, just 2 weeks ago I paid $19.70 for a pack while yesterday its $20.30. Bumping the price real fast. Might try something else next, any suggestions?

I do agree with you, I should had thrown them out..

I often walk down a dark path and a cigaret once a while helps set the mood and relaxes me a bit and cope with the environment sometimes. Just this other day I injured my leg real bad falling down rock climbing, now using a walking stick.

Quitting. heh and yes I smoke.

and as far as the price on the dunhills, I smoke the same brand, servo is up to 20.20, yet the dairy opposite my house is 19.70

I would suggest an e-Cigarette if you're only smoking for those walks etc, a good start on the path to quitting also, given that in 11 years it appears we have no choice.

I keep telling people "I'm trying to quit ya know", but I know i'm just lying.

I didn't mean literal walking, walking through my own existence in llife per say.

11 years....migrate to europe with lung cancer it is then.

Everything aside though, I have tried a few different brands here and there and in my opinion dunhill reds usually has the best taste. I say usually as the last pack wasn't as good as the first ones and the one I bought the other day. How are Camels? I have tried holidays, they come in 25 packs, most girls around and some guys seem to smoke them but their taste is too mild and feel cheap.

Camel has a strong flavour, holiday is weak & cheap. if you go to cheaper in price you end up with that burning dry sensation in the back of your throat.  aka the "easy" brand (terrible terrible cigarette.)

I Hear what you're saying regarding quitting, I always say i'll give up eventually.... but i've never tried to give as yet, so not in the boat of some where they have tried and failed or tried, suceeded but then "fallen off the wagon"
