On the Herald there is a republished article about that Canada shooting.

The article is fine goes on about how the guy was shot and killed by police etc etc ... then lower down is this line :

There was no answer at Rouleau's single story white brick home in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, earlier this morning, and no sign of police.
Well of course there was no answer ... he's dead!!!

And do journalists really hear about terrorists killing soldiers and then go knocking on their doors in the hope of an interview ??!

Or have I missed something ?

Normally they seem to just troll the victims Facebook page.

Kind of. There was an earlier report he lived with his father. No context in that one. No doubt he got tired of answering the door and doing interviews at some point. He commented earlier. That guy was a bit slow. Expect a news crew live from the scene reporting on the door for the next week.

next will be the neighbors all being interviewed and saying he was quiet , kept to himself and was no trouble and they are shocked he did it.
