One of my friends posted on his Facebook wall that from this morning Samsung calls are going to be answered by Manila. Just thought it would be nice to let you all know so you can brace yourselves if you or family have to call them. I guess we are going to see this quite a bit in the future with Manila being cheaper for call centers for big companies.

Snap are not selling complicated mobile phones to idiots who have to call up and have a script read to them about whats happened to their pictures and how to take the battery out and put it back in again to reboot the phone etc.
At the last job some of the crap I heard in the lunchroom about people calling for problems with their phone or internet was amazing. So long as actual faults can be logged online I am quite happy for all the idiot calls to go to third world where the time they waste is worth less so costing the companies less.
Yeah, I bought a bluray with smart tv stuff in it so I could set it to a seperate region to the TV and get tvnz etc on it. Piece of crap outputted everything at 50Hz on the HDMI out so things looked aweful that were not 50Hz (worse than the other way around of 50Hz content on a 60Hz output)
Samsung support used legacy words like "PAL" to try to justify it as being normal, despite using a HDMI output on it. I wonder what it would have done if plugged into a display that didnt do 50Hz. Anyway easiest option was to return it rather than battle with level one support so I did.
