Hi

I recently had an x box LAN and someone took my rechargeable controller and left behind one that ran on AA batteries.

For those of you not familiar with a console controller its wireless, has a battery shaped recharge pack and has a cable you plug into it to recharge it.

My question is, if I plug in a normal casing to hold AA batteries and put in 2x rechargeable batteries, then use the charging cable to recharge it will my controller blow up or work fine?

I guess its a general question about recharging packs that replace batteries, do they act like batteries or something else?
