OK, there's clearly something going down in Sydney at the moment, so it's all hands to the metaphorical pumps to get any and all information published ASAP, with scant regard for accuracy... So much so that Stuff seem to have realised this and put the following disclaimer on their article...

"The situation remains fluid and some details could change."

Holy Sh*t... If you need a disclaimer like that, don't publish the info yet.

Yes, it is now being reported that there IS a terrorist plot happening right now, although details are sketchy (and therefore not details) we believe that the group concerned has some political aspirations (definition of terrorist) and I can also report that the epicenter (point on surface directly above an earthquake) is at ground zero.

In all fairness, the terrorist/political bit is a bit of a play on Tony Abbott's statement that "we have no idea if the terrorist is politically motivated" which was part of the news conference. All of us in our office collectively facepalmed at that.

Connections to Al Qaeda are suspected, but not yet confirmed. And now we'll cross to Mike at the scene, who knows less than we do, who will interview someone with an opinion.
