Just saw a job ad for an office job in NZ that said 'mail sorting' and 'open and batch mail'. Anyone know what 'open and batch mail' means?

I'd guess you will be opening incoming mail for a company or enterprise and creating batches for later processing. Eg; bill payments, complaints, accounts, product enquiry, etc.
