(Keep it clean folks, if uploading to Geekzone you will have to use the link to "original upload" instead of the resized version - resizing removes the animation).

I love the Superman one - especially the fact that the passers by are completely ignoring it!

As for the cats....there are enough of those on the inter web already...!

Im not sure i should be entering this thread... too many cats to fill it with :3

on a Slightly related note, does GZ support webm or mp4 embeding? generally turns out smaller so i often link to the automatically converted versions imgur produce (https://i.imgur.com/IpK42T6.gifv for example.)

Oh I just love the falling camera GIF — is it really just a GIF?  And good job that it loops, because you miss so much first time round.  I initially thought the camera man was about to get decked, before realizing it was a rescue mission.  I love that he had the presence of mind to throw down is phone and wallet before running into the water.

LOL.  It keeps on getting better.  The little girl in red who is completely unaware of the drama, and the little girl in white who waves to the sinking camera, but is obviously a bit concerned as her gaze flicks between her panicking father and the camera...  just one last wave before it sinks!

Do we know what we are look at?  is it a drone?  Or a balloon perhaps?  I'm aching to know the full story.

The kitten practicing how to use a touch screen is good as well.

Question is, what did he drop in the water - phone or wallet?

It appears to be H.264 with a .gifv extension.

gifv is a fake extension. it will use webm or mp4, gif if absolutely required - last i checked it does try flash before this.

its more used for linking with graceful fallback, linked for an example without the imgur 'extras' scattered everywhere.

It was a DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter.

He had his keys, wallet and phone in his pockets. Phone and keys made it to the shore, but the wallet fell in the drink.

You have to click play... More a video than a GIF, but small enough:
