My wife was helping out at the samosa stall for my kids school fete, so I took the liberty of making a sign for it. Apart from the obligatory "Samosas $2.00" (excellent value in my opinion), I put up quotes from famous individuals about, you guessed it, samosas!

Check these out, and any more would be most welcome - I'll use them next year!

"In anybody's frame of reference, these samosas are great!!"
- Einstein

"I thought I saw a samosa stall on the other side of the car park"
- D Howlett

"My fellow Pelicans, eat more samosas. They are good for the econometricity of the countrification."
- G Bush Jr.

"It is crucial to never underestimate the importance of samosas in tank warfare"
- Rommell

"If only we'd eaten more samosas"
- R McCaw

"If only the boys had eaten more samosas"
- G Henry

"It was Art's refusal to eat samosas that drove us apart in the end"
- P Simon

"I will be prime minister, all I need is a more cohesive fiscal policy and to eat more samosas"
- J Key

"John Key will never be prime minister because he doesn't eat enough samosas"
- H Clarke

"Ich bin ein samosa"
- JFK's Bombay address

"If music be the food of love, give me another samosa"
-Shaleapeare's Twelfth Night (the rare Sub-Continental version)

And a few I thought of while driving up to Central Otago (I got called out and didn't make it to the fete - bummer!):

"My samosas are f#$@%!g excellent!"
- G Ramsey

"Gordon's samosas are f#$@%!g crap!"
- J Oliver

"Gordon and Jamie are a couple of self-promoting tossers! My samosas are the best in the f#$@%!g world!"
-M Jaffery

I tried to appeal to (and offend??!?) all sectors of society. The sign received an excellent reaction - one chap even paid a dollar more for his samosas in appreciation!

Give a Man a Samosa and you feed him for a day. Teach a Man to buy lots of Samosas and you feed him for a life time.

I think you need to download all your samosa treasures to snapfish as jpeg files and do a book!  Hey, three for 19.95 and a twenty percent discount for christmas...  you could make a pile.  (of samosas)  Call it Ich bin ein Samosa, and put a picture of a samosa on the front with your own hair superimposed on it...  Don't forget a few 'stickmen' type drawings of famous samosas...
