Hi,

when I do search on google, then I select a link, instead of the intended link coming up, I see the link change in the address bar, and some advertising web page comes up. Any ideas to fix this.

I have zone alarm en suite, and I have run the virus and spyware search and nothing comes, up. I have the latest updates of zone alarm.

Are you getting multiple pages appearing? It does sound suspcious. I've seen two of my friends pc's get hijacking infections but these caused multiple popups with false security messages saying to visit this site or that. They're hard to clean off.

From memory I used an anti malware forum to search about and resolve those infections: http://www.malwarebytes.org

Edit: As for a sidenote, one infection was caused by internet explorer installing an infected mediaplayer codec so he could watch videos on some site. He was using the norton suite and it didn't pick it up. Pays to be very vigilant.
