I purchased this keyboard from Amazon recently: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-Built-In-Multi-Touch/dp/B005DKZTMG because it costs about 4 times as much here. (Edit: Price was more like twice as much as sites I looked at, but as it was a bulk order it ended up cheaper).
I was surprised when I tracked the status of my order yesterday (which included some other things, so I was not sure what item was causing it) and it said: “Refused shipment: Returning to sender. Your package was refused at delivery. It is being returned to Amazon" and on the i-Parcel website it said: "Your shipment has content that are not permissable for export. Please contact the internet retailer”.
I contacted Amazon and they told me it was definitely a mistake, because the item is marked as being able to ship to NZ and to reorder it which I did.
However, i-Parcel just contacted me this morning and said it is a restricted item, because it is a "radioactive material". The only reason I can see this being the case is it says "2 AA batteries required - included", which seems ridiculous, but I have never had a problem with importing things with small batteries before.
So, now I am worried that my new order is going to get returned again, with Amazon insisting that the keyboard is fine to ship to NZ, with i-Parcel insisting it isn't.
Does anyone know who is correct and what I should do?
