I just got a marketing email from Playtech, reminding me that it's mother's day in 10 days and mentioned that they have a special for mother's day.

I thought, wow, this is handy because my mom really wanted that gtx 980 with watercooling.

So what other funny sales/ promotions have you guys encountered?
