The address given [removed] is a nationally known nz service retailer so this may be some kind of troll or humor attempt.

Quoted the ad in full because I think it will be removed from the source real soon ; ).

This post does not identify so I think the text can stay here without issues arising.

Is this creative recruiting or trolling by an unrelated party?

That is pretty funny.

It must intended for humor, unless it was mistakenly posted.

I added it to my Trademe watchlist.

I had a look at their other listings. Another of the same, and 3 legit sounding jobs. Considering it costs $169 to list a job for 30 days. Im picking either their account got hacked. Or a disgruntled employee placed the listings on their last day at work.

It's powershop. They're funny as hell.

I have no doubt it's legit.

That's the best reply I've ever received to one of my (many) customer inquiries.  This is my other favourite.

I feel like this describes approx. 50% of corporate jobs fairly accurately.

I'm trying to work out how 90% of the ad is related to a role as a software developer.  I assumed it was a piss-take ad for a call centre rep.

If you are looking in software development and have a similar sense of humour it may get your attention over other advertisements.
