I got a reminder yesterday that mine is expiring end of June.  Problem is i don't remember buying one  at US$99 but sure enough it is there and with Unotelly i can watch the movies.

Is there any good reason to have it though??

Regards,

I don't remember agreeing to buy one, but I have one (and have probably been charged for it). I think it started when I got a FireTV, and it rolled into a paid membership.
I have used Prime on the FrieTV, so quite handy, and I take advantage of the free shipping when sending stuff to YouShop, but other than that I don't know if I get my $$ worth out of it.

I seem to recall a few people mentioning a while back that when they were buying something on amazon, an opt out sort of page came up during checkout where you might have agreed to buy it without realizing?

Pretty certain that's what happened with mine.

Reminds me though, might need to get some more stuff (need some shoes) sent. Wish YouShop had some codes

I use it somewhat often with shipping to shipito, the streaming is a nice to have but the music has never worked for me and they wont look into it as "its only available physically in the USA" so will take it up with them if I go to the US and am physically in the US some time.

The free shipping with the $1 credit for digital goods is what I normally choose, and then use that on random apps etc for the firetv and phones.

I had it but did not bother renewing it as it seems to have no great benefit unless you are fortunate enough to live in the consumer Mecca of the USA.

I use it for free 2 day shipping all the time. I use it because it gives me streaming TV/Movies and music (Set your devices and profile to USA). It gets me early offers on items like the Echo, FireTV etc.

It's about the only subscription I wouldn't consider not renewing.

I have the membership - buyings lots of books from them.

My last book would have cost me $800-$900 in NZ but just over $500 from them with free shipping.

That isn't a prime membership benefit!

my kids like the TV series you get streaming that aren't available on Netflix.  also I watched a couple of seasons of orphan black.  generally it gets a lot less use than my other subs

Sorry that sounded a little abrupt. No offence intended.
