Don't have a Fisher & Paykel, but we do have a Bosch. The very first thing we tested it with was a TriPillow which was very wet because it was throwing the spin dryer out of balance. It worked a charm and dried it right through which we didn't quite expect. One advantage is that you can locate them virtually anywhere, because they don't have to be vented to the outside, so no damp garage etc. The Bosch has many automatic settings, which work fine, so I expect the F&P will have the same No doubt it will likewise be quite economical compared to heating and blowing. The Bosch does a short warm cycle at the end, but used the heat pump method so again more economical, no doubt the F&P will do something similar.
We have a Miele condensor dryer and it works brilliantly.
Was a screaming bargain on TM from a guy on the SI selling it as deceased estate from his grandfather, who had owned for only a few months before dying. Judging from the condition, I'd be amazed if it had done even a dozen loads when we got it. Should have been $3500 new and we got it for $850! Cost us $300 to have it sent up from SI.
Highly recommend condenser dryers unless you put your dryer in a garage or something and can vent it without caring about the drafts.
