Any fans of the show?
Seems on the surface like a compelling and _semi_-realistic (dramatised) portrayal of hacking. Although I am sure some here might have objections to that description, I thought it might make good conversation.

At minimum it characterizes some interesting qualities, a dystopian view of reality, introversion etc.

The soundtrack is particularly creepy, I reckon.

I am a fan.

The hacking doesn't have to be totally realistic - nor should it - obvious.

I am not sure about a 'dystopian view' of real life.

OK The hacking is a little far-fetched.

But, the surveillance is real.

Yes I like it. I think the head guy of the hacking crew isn't real- a fight club sort of thing. Poor Elliott did that girl no favours.

Oh yeah, I am watching that too. Also pretty good. Not as dramatic, but interesting concepts.

I had that thought too briefly. That would be interesting. He is schizophrenic, and that can involve hallucinations. Evil corp for example is e corp, but we always hear it as evil.

Mr Robot knew a little bit too much when he met Elliot on the stairs in the last episode too.

I wonder if he is Elliot's father.

I normally watch comedy or sci-fi, and I thought the premise sounded potentially good for Mr robot, but wasn't too sure. How wrong was I, it's honestly pretty amazing.

I didn't realise the episodes were named like files etc. Very cool.

Seems likely there will be a twist, responding to earlier suggestions, just not super sure on what it is.

And isn't that e corp exec a psycho? wow.

Pretty funny episode titles - especially since the 'file-type' is part of the name. Numbering starts at zero too - of course!

Mr Robot is great, I do agree with others that it 'could' be a like Fight Club esq in that Christian Slater character is potentially not real, they have played that well so far in the story line.  The thought processes are well done too.  Last ep was certainly a stop and watch rather than on in the background doing something else.
