off topic as it is, I'm thinking of starting up a lotto outlet, does anyone know how? costs?

I've sent email to lotto but who knows someone here might have some useful info I wouldn't get from them.

Is this in an existing business or a standalone lotto shop?

If it is in an existing one, i would say don't go for it. So much hassle, for such little returns.
You get 7 cents per dollar.
You don't get paid to check people's tickets, and there are heeeaaaps to check, and wastes your time!

You have to change posters regularly, you have to comply with their opening hours etc.
And now they have mystery shoppers come in and check you regularly. And you have to do quizzes regularly as well!

This may not sound like much, but in an existing business it can become a pain in the backside.
