I purchased a couple of domain from Crazy Domains, and now I need a provider to host my website. My previous/current test website is being hosted on Microsoft Azure. However it is very slow, which I assume is due to the crappy nature of Azure?

However it is very cheap!
(it might not be slow, or if it is totally unrelated to the server. I would appreciate advice on this also).

So what I am asking for is recommendations on a relatively good quality and cheap hosting provider?

Azure should be fine, so should AWS, but shared hosting should be cheaper and usually faster. Check out some reviews I did web hosting reviews - Arvixie has impressed me with servers and support. I use HostGator, their servers are still good but their service has gone downhill. Use Cloudflare as a CDN, they have an Auckland node that makes things way faster if you use USA hosting.

What are you hosting?

Some of options are owned by the same parent.  My experience with hosts is that they are often get brought out by another company and the service and support goes downhill.  So what starts out as a good host doesn't often last long term.
