Got a Lego WallE set for Fathers Day, finished it yesterday (was given it on Thursday - kid let the robot out of the box)

http://1drv.ms/1JMTEus

Appears a lot of people are missing certain pieces and extras of others...... I had a few left over bits, but didnt have any missing - just a single piece thats the wrong color. Will be contacting Lego to get right one sent out......

Be cool if they released a whole set with characters such as EVA and BurnE :)

Yes, I like WallE....

Missing pieces are exceedingly rare in my experience (my son gets a lot of Lego).

Extra pieces are there in every set - I assume it isn't worth the extra billion dollars to get 100% accuracy.

Yes indeed how odd! Have never had a missing piece, I'm amazed how accurately it's done.

Cheers,
Joseph

I got one day of release it is awesome, but there is an issue(which is common and I also have this issue) with the neck not having enough friction and the head swivelling backwards when the head is tilted backwards.
Never had a missing part though. Thought I did once but it had just rolled off the table.

Wall-E looks awesome.

I, too, have never had a Lego set missing pieces. Almost always a few extras of some minor pieces, though.

Yep - I learnt a while ago that I am far more likely to fail than their quality control system.

Brought the set as soon as my local Toyworld got it in.
Love the set - no missing or incorrect parts here.

While the neck does swing freely, it doesn't while on display and if it really got annoying I could figure out (or look up) a custom design.'

If only it transformed into a cube as well

Good luck, been selling fast....  was lucky getting one, wife has a contact at a Toyworld store - they had 10 shipped to their store, within 24hrs 8 had gone.

I submitted a missing brick request(not missing any though) a few days ago for my kit for the lose head. The request was just approved.

I requested parts 4210751 & 4522784. They are sending these parts along with 2x 4211695 and 2x 4265484

Will report back when I get the parts if it fixes the issue.
