Never watched it with any regularity, but loved the shows concept.

I did find the presenters a little weirder than I'd like, but still, acknowledge it's value, and lament it's loss.

Really enjoy Mythbusters, and Adam's Youtube stuff too.
Hopefully they go on to other projects.

Very sad indeed.  I also didn't watch it religiously, but really enjoyed it when I did.  Presenters seemed pretty normal to me :P

Hopefully netflix or amazon or someone signs them up for something similar.

WOW - wasn't expecting that!! What a shame as it is such an entertaining and educational show that we'd often sit down as a family and watch.

There's your problem - it needs more of a reality focus, maybe some scum of the earth brain dead dropkicks with large breasts getting drunk and being idiots?

Mythbusters Shore....

Geordiebusters?

I too enjoyed the show and am saddened by its demise.

We took the family (two boys aged 8 & 10) to the live show last year and they still talk about it (and they're not at all geeky)...

As has been suggested - it's probably due to the fact that it's not overly controversial or degrading.

SKY got TLC recently.

Good lord that channel is through the barrel and digging up the ground underneath it.

If I could have one wish with regards to TV it would be for all reality TV to disappear, forever.

Not too fussed.  Adam and Jamie will find something else to do.  They've probably got something bigger and better planned.  It was a great show though!

Not fussed. Its been years since I have watched an "episode" on a "channel" on "TV" of their stuff.

The way media is consumed has changed in 14 years - substantially. That type of content is now better served online, world wide with more interaction - which is kinda what tested provides. Ramp that up and I see much better things for them.

A lot has changed... their "car bombed" myths have changed how Hollywood would blow up the cars on impact in movies these days.

Strangely enough, Discovery Turbo is bringing back American Chopper Father vs Son... I thought that would have laid to bed... :-/ *Too much drama and very little actual build showcase.*

They had pretty much done most myths, so it was pretty much done.

Maybe Amazon can get them on board to team up with the ex-Top Gear crew...

BlueShift: Maybe Amazon can get them on board to team up with the ex-Top Gear crew...

And they can also team it up with 'Fear Factor' at the same time, and get real people doing the myths instead of crash test dummies.
TV programs do have a useby date. Top Gear is another that was past it. Will be interesting to see what the Top Gear reboot will be like with the new presenters.

I don't think Top Gear was past its useby date at all - it has a huge following, which is why a new show with the same 3 presenters was delevoped so quickly by Amazon.

Gutted to hear.

Now discovery can fill their channel with more trash like Naked and Afraid, Airplane Repo and that STUPID river monsters one
