So first world problem here. Had some KFC for tea tonight and the missus asked do they still do the wet naps. I know they don't but when did they stop supplying them and anybody know why ?? , my guess is cost but I can't remember when they no longer became available.

Went to the countdown in cambridge the other day looking for some.
WOW they have a pharmacy inside the countdown. Its fancy as compared to our two countdowns in napier (across the road from each other)
Anyhow i couldnt find the moist towellettes and carried on to auckland.

What useless sort of supermarket doesn't stock wet-wipes?

Not stocking them is different from me being able to find them.
All my food shopping is done at a speaker box run by mcdonalds so im not good at using countdowns.

The KFC downtown has a sink you can wash you hands in, from what I remember.

Ha! We once had some people turn up at our B&B at 10pm in rural Wairarapa. They had a child of less than 5 with them and their first question was "Is there a McDonalds around here where we can get his dinner?"

They were perplexed when we told them there was unlikely to be anything at all open, much less a McDonalds - but they could drive 40km to Masterton if that was what they really wanted! Townies.

Just ask staff for them. They don't give them out automatically with meals but I got a couple a few weeks back.

I just like the idea of going into KFC and asking for a 'moist towelette'.

Swing by Kmart, grab a bunch of their $1 antibacterial wipes. Come in packs of 10-12 wipes that reseal.

I leave one in my bag, one in the car, one on desk at work and home and the rest sit in the bathroom for when I run out of one. Seriously they are life. I often use them to lift up a bit of food before it sets and stains, wipe something off before it dries and goes sticky, endless options including after a KFC feed :D
