Ho Ho Ho... It's that time of the year. I'd be keen to know where the best Christmas lights are in Auckland.

Let's start the list! I know there's a site dedicated to this request but it doesn't beat recommendations!

Well there is Franklin Road, the usual place in the City where all the Christmas lights are.. However, we came back home, and our neighbours had this display going on, which we thought were wayy better than any we saw at Franklin Road! tongue-out

Karaka Lakes is the first stop for any g33k, computer controlled light and sound show at 9pm every night until the 24th. it is simply amazing and on a totally different level to any other christmas light house around

for small kids there is an awesome on in kamara rd glen eden, its a bit kitsch but has a true sense of christmas with its lit path you can walk through etc

Vista Motu in Red Beach is always done up well.  Going there tonight and will get some pics.

Franklin Road very close to Vic park market is awesome but don't drive up the street bumper to bumper mess when dark
