I have three ancient VHS cassettes containing family events. Can anyone recommend a professional service to convert them competently to a digital format? I'm not going to attempt this myself, as I don't want to invest in capture hardware for three miserable tapes. I don't even have a VCR.

In Wellington I used dubshop and was quite happy, although it was a bit pricey. Maybe because it was only a small job.

Im doing it myself for some friends, capture cards plus I still have 2 VCRs, takes time but I dont mind, set it and leave it running on spare screen on desk.

I have several VCR's and a Set top DVD Recorder if you want me to do it, you need to get the tapes to me though, located in West Auckland.

I have a couple of tapes I'd like to capture. I'm in Greenlane. Would be no trouble to drop them off one day when convenient for you.

They are very old: 1989 and 1990. But I cleaned up my own VCR and played them last week and they look pretty good. But I don't want to play them more than once more in case the tape snaps. So I want to make it a good recording. :-)
