Does anyone have a recommendation for a good reshipping company from Australia? I've Googled but didn't come up with anything. Occasionally I find items I would like to buy from Myer or Target (who don't ship internationally) and I don't have any way of getting them here.

Do you not know anybody there? I couldn't imagine much of a market for such a company which probably indicates why you can't find any!

Unfortunately nobody I know well enough to ask them to reship for me. It's a shame - so many Australian clothing stores have pulled out of NZ and some don't ship internationally. I assume the market is too small for a reshipping company to offer the service, though.

I've also fruitlessly looked for such a company. NZ post should really offer Youshop there.

I wonder why they don't. There are often things I would but if I could from oz,

Thanks for the recommendation. Good to know they're out there, though the dummy quote I ran through their estimator was prohibitively expensive.

Sadly that's the best you'll get. Australian shipping overseas is ridiculously priced - as bad as if not worse than NZ overseas shipping. The only exception would be the flat rate flat packs available from Auspost stores for $20 to NZ. Which the forwarders probably wouldn't use (they'd have an account and printed labels).

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Good to know, thank you. I guess I'll just have to do without the shorts I wanted to get from Target. Not worth paying more than the items to ship them, however much I like them :)

When a friend wanted to get about 40kg of stuff back to nz, it was cheapest to fly over and bring it back as checked and carryon than have it sent at a reasonable speed from there. Plus that means duty free booze. Post from there is crazy, and casual courier rates are absurd.

Ooh, David Jones!

I'm going back to Broadbeach in September so hopefully they'll still have the items I want in stock at Target. It's crazy that it's cheaper to ship from the UK to here, given the massively greater distance.

I suspect more competition. Shipping between NZ and Oz is crazy expensive. There must be a reason why it i so much. Although some Australian retailers seem to be able to get good deals, as an Oz bookshop charges $7 to ship to NZ which isn't too bad.

Considering Book Depository ship from the UK to NZ for $0 no matter the size of the order, its still not that great.

Book Depository is crazy - I'll order 3 books and get them all in separate parcels, sometimes on the same day! They must have a really good shipping deal going.

Exactly, Although to can cost $6-10 to have the books shipped within NZ, so not bad in comparison . I wonder why NZers pay so much for shipping in NZ, and shipping from NZ to other countries, when the cost should be the same as in the other direction. Who is paying NZ posties to hand deliver a 50 cent item shipped for free from hong kong?
