So the Sevens are on this weekend in Wellington.

Once I would have been all over this.  Considered taking the kids to the family zone.

Is anyone else going/been in recent times?

Weather looks average at best.

What TV channel has the rights this year?

Prime TV website is broken as usual, and can't see it on TV1/2

Maybe should have purchased that 2 week Fanpass offering from last week lol.

Unlike past years its hard to even notice that its on.

I personally think it's just a slow death and they should just put it out of its misery.

It's not about the rugby, it's never been about the rugby, it's all about the costumes and the pissup.

They took all the fun out of it when they started cracking down on the partying, being nazis about the drinking and banning mankinis and other costumes. Now Auckland has the nines, which still has the party atmosphere I think the Wellington 7's are doomed.

Perhaps Dick Smith should have taken over the sponsorship...

Thanks for the warning! I had no idea but will ensure I stay away from town over the weekend.
