Hi & bye,

off to Brisbane to get amongst the action (SAP consulting) on offer there.  Anyone have any opinions on good ISP/ phone providers?  Would like something like xnet fusion... or other bundle options...even at minimum something like the Telecom Downunder plan where you can call as much as you like for $25 (fair usage applies of course).

Cheers, Stevo

From what I know, I have my Dad, on AAPT, and it seems that Australian Telco's are big on Caps, for both PSTN and Mobile services.

You can see AAPT's Homeline Plans here: http://home.aapt.com.au/At_home/Home_Phone/

Also when you have a AAPT Homeline, you can get their GO 15 Mobile plans, which gives you some good rates until you find your feet, and if you wish you could commit to a Cap plan if your calling habits suit.

As for mobile coverage, if you need to use it outside the metro areas. Then Telstra's Next G is the way to go. Otherwise AAPT use the Vodafone AU network. Three are also a good option here, but this will only suit if you spend a good majority of your time in their network area.
