When my school chums were trying to be Hendrix on their guitars, I was at the piano trying to give them Pictures at an Exhibition.

 

So much talent, gone now.

I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, much less grasp how to play a musical instrument. I did have some ELP records though and it is sad to see yet another one go.

 

 

I watched Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull the other day and there is a line that seemed pertinent and stuck in my mind:

 

 

"We seem to have reached the point in life where it stops giving us things and starts taking them away."
