I have a Roomba and use two Virtual walls to stop the unit from entering a couple rooms.

My question is, how long do your virtual walls last? I seem to be replacing the batteries on mine once a month, which is a lot when the manual says they should be replaced six monthly.

That's what I thought last time, but this time bought the expensive Energizer batteries (or similar).  Same outcome, flat within a month :/

I turn mine off. It tends to get moved around the house so it is easy just to flick it off when moving it.. I want two as the Roomba only came with one but I can't find an economic source for them. They are pretty expensive seperately.

Cheers, Matt.

I think I read somewhere that to save battery use you have to take them out - or at least undo the catch at the bottom.  Otherwise they continue to transmit.  I found mine lasted much longer when I did that.

Mine has a switch on the top which says "OFF" and "Auto"
