So our Samsung top loader washing machine plays some really weird tune at the end of a wash that goes on for a good 20 odd seconds. Wonder who came up with the tune and why you would want it on a washing machine.

When I was last in Japan some of the bidets played some really funky tunes while doing its thing as well as being able to connect to it via Bluetooth.

Anybody else got any appliances that play tunes.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

I used to have a digital watch that played Beethoven etc but no appliances. I'd prefer "Your laundry is finished, Master. Shall I iron and fold it now?" to music...

When I was at uni, we had an old mini-computer (DEC PDP) and it could play any tune you liked onto a radio tuned to 1500 metres in the Long Wave Band. (Uni was Cambridge and the frequency was used by the BBC.)

All to do with carefully tuned tight loops in machine code and a total lack of any RFI mitigation.
