Wife's in bed, no kids to worry about, dogs asleep and it's too close to bed time for me to be drinking or I'll be up all night visiting the bathroom...!

Managed to watch the most recent WWE Royal Rumble, and squeezed in some games of CS,  so something was going right for me..... until youngest woke up after an "accident".....

Spent last night playing BF3 for a couple of hours.

Was invited to drinks at 4pm with a friend, two others joined us, drank Veuve Clicquot until 12:30am.

I had Quiz night last night. disappointing 3rd place finish, but fun anyway.

gun threat disarms. didnt get injured. only accidentally elbowed one person in the face. t'was a good night.

also, while clearly the majority of people like champagne which is fine....whenever you get beyond wasted drunk to the point that you puke liquid only, when you are just about done and you are just heaving air.....if I sniff the bubbles coming off champagne....it's the same smell as that alcoholic-air-puke. Personally never seen the appeal in fizzy wine....remineds me of people I used to know who would mix red wine and cocacola.

Battlefield 3

Dropped daughter at taekwando, went to the gym, picked daughter up from taekwando, made dinner, ate dinner, settled down to watch a recording of Sydney (my team) hammering Carlton in the AFL, had a shower, went to bed, read a chapter of Bill Bryson (The Mother Tongue) and fell asleep.

Round of darts at brother -in-laws, won 3 outta 3 games. So that's 388 games to me, 382 to him.

Talked boat restoration - a 2 1/2 year project so far.

Had butter chicken and lamb saag curries. And a couple shots of port.

Mrs was out last night but put a chicken tonight in the crockpot to cook, microwaved some rice and played Fallout 4 for a few hours.

Only bummer was she got home in time for the Bachelor. :(

Heh... did similar last Friday, got pre-loaded at staff drinks, got lift home, wife took me to mates to pick him up, then hit the local for a few hours....and thats all I remember. Wife said account was looking a bit sad so I must have had a good night :)
