Hi,

My parents have bought a camper van to travel NZ.  They want to have internet in their van but Vodafone, Telecom etc are very expensive for just a few gig of mobile traffic per month.

Does anyone else know any other better solutions?  Satellite internet maybe?  They use around 30gig per month at home but woould probably use less than half that on the road.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

1) Get spark

2) use mobile data only when literaly moving around

3) for all other instances, simply park your camper van next to a WIFI hotspot at a phonebox they are in virtually every town and there is an app to help you find them.  They give you 1GB/day data to use.

Source: my family did that exact thing when they were travelling around NZ last year.
