Hi,
So I obviously missed something in S5, but how did Arya get blinded?
Cheers

I believe it was her punishment for stealing from the many-faced god in S5
I missed that too, so clearly not very well explained!
It's been a long time since I read the books, but I think that did happen.
I'm very unsure as to whether I want to watch this series, given that it now has nothing to do with the books. It would be odd for it to go one way and the books to go another when the next one (sure to make GRRM more money than the rest ever have, I am sure!) comes out.

It was well explained in season 5... It was because when she killed Meryn Trant she was perceived to have stolen from the many faced god
Great first episode!! Will have to watch it again.
YAY for Brienne of Tarth!!
Happens about 25 minutes into episode 10 of season 5. Very obvious when it happens, down to her saying the words "I can't see".

Yep, although somehow I am not as much of a Melisandre fan as I used to be!

All I needed to "catch up" before watching S06E01 was to watch last episode of Season 5 (10) beforehand. Basically everything which comes up was set up / left hanging in that episode.
Good episode overall, except for the Jokesy dothraki bit which was just ... way too forced

Yes.... that particular bit I might skip... what has been seen cannot be unseen! ![]()
I was surprised that it ended so quickly!!!!! But , was 40 minutes, only seemed like 10 haha.
The main problem I have with the GoT tv series, is that they have to follow so many different story lines. So it feels like a bunch of different stories being told which intersect on occasion. And, the time given to each thread is naturally limited. So, it is slow going.

And yet it tells a fraction of the story lines running in the books!
I'm concluding I may have missed the last episode of the previous series as I can't recall any of the events described above at all.
