There's only four days to go in the voting for cities to go on the board of the Monopoly World Edition. Queenstown is the only NZ city on the short-list, so lets go for it!!

The URL is: http://www.monopolyworldvote.com/en_NZ/world , and you will have to register (if you haven't already). You can vote once a day.

There is also a couple of "wild card" cities that will be on the board - you nominate a city not on the short-list. I have been putting Dunedin in every day, but Auckland has been in the top 20 consistently, so all you jafas are probably nominating flat out (between lattes!!).

They have changed the website so you can't see the leaderboard any more, but Queenstown was sitting around 24 (only the top 20 make it on to the board), after spending a couple of weeks between 14 and 18.

Come on Kiwis - lets get it on!!!??!

It has just rolled round to three days to go, so if you voted an hour ago you can vote again now.

Cool site!  When will we be able to purchase this new edition here in New Zealand?

Glad to see both of my hometowns - Taipei and Auckland - are on the top 20 list:)

According to the Hasbro website:

"The cities voted onto the final
game board will be announced in August 2008. The new MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition will
be available in stores around the world in Autumn 2008."

So it might be available for Christmas this year.

There is a New Zealand Edition, $49.99 from ferrit, if you can't wait for the World Edition.
