Have I missed something, or has this just gone up to $10? I am sure it was $5

I topped up a few days ago and noticed the same thing.

I thought it had always been $10 - based on many top-up experiences several years ago whilst running a hobby-business via Trademe.

I'm pretty certain I only remember it as being $10... But then again my memory isn't my best attribute.

Here's my understanding. If you go into mytrademe and top up it has always been a $10 minimum. However, if you go to list something and then have insufficient funds, you will be able to top up $5 instead of $10. Looks like it's now a minimum of $10 across the board.

That makes sense. It's now also me done with TM. I ain't topping up $10 because I need $0.35 on the account. Fkcing hate that website now.

I've given up selling stuff on there, so 9 cents it shall remain.

Yeap, it was $5 when topping up when relisting, and $10 when just topping up manually. Disappointing they didn't even contact customers about it, or even announce it on their website. There is no reason they couldn't keep it at $5. It will probably make their books look better on paper for this next financial year, as they will suddenly get a lot more money being paid for credit.
