I wrote a party song (melody and lyrics) couple of years ago with a catchy refrain "man's heart on a hook".

It is devoted to all man in the world who loves to eat and praises ladies who cook for them: i.e.:

"..and lady who knows how to cook, will quickly get man's heart on a hook, man's heart on a hook, man's heart on a hook".

The song to be performed by few mates in a relaxed manner after couple of drinks before the main course.

You do not have to have any vocal talent to sing it, in other words - anyone at any party. Low baritone from big boys would sound great.

My Kiwi, British, SA, Irish and US friends peer reviewed and "approved" the lyrics.

I am looking for a local band / composer (will buy them 3 boxes of beer) to compose and record professionally the "minus one" track.

Then I will be looking at the place in Auckland with a "character" looking female chef(s)  and a 3 (or more) mates to volunteer to perform the song and make a YouTube video.

Also looking for a free software to create video karaoke based on the "minus one" track to then publish the song on YouTube for everyone to enjoy!

An Artist who can create artistic impression for the "cover" / YouTube thubnail is also welcome (credits to the Artist)

Access to the cameras and editting machines at local TV was promised to me already. But we can edit video ourselves not a problem.

Opportunity for a band (credits to the band) and a restaurant to promote themselves with a song which could be a hit in New Zealand and around the world...

Suggestions?

Here is my acappella version of "Men's heart on a hook"

https://youtu.be/IPS1Li_kiLE

I think will be good with brass instruments (trombone, sax, tuba etc) and low baritone trio :-)

As my dad used to say: the way to a man's heart attack is through his stomach.

Fred99:

 T..

... The song is about Love and Joy, something like this (from Google search) would be better, do you think?

Fianlly a complete stranger on FB has volunteered and put the melody into notes! I have now midi file, mp3 with melody and bass and printed notes!
