Purchasing a courier label on NZ Post's site, I noticed that you can book a pick up as part of the checkout process, apparently for no additional cost. I decided to try it, and two working days later they still haven't collected it (they said it would be Thursday).

Is there any point in me trying to use this pick up service again in the future, or don't they take it seriously? What are your experiences?

Is it better to do the booking using NZ Post's form or the one on CourierPost's site?

Are you in a rural area? I frequently book courier collections from customers houses and never run into an issue like this.
I've always booked on the phone hawing a CSR so maybe that helps ensure the process is actioned? Give them a call and see if they can tell you why the pickup wasn't fulfilled.

I just have the courier at work collect it during his usual pick up time. Extra trademe feedback points when the item gets delivered ahead of the estimated times.
