Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the new dick smith online since they went into liquidation.

Looking at buying a new router which is $300, about $100-200 cheaper compared to retail stores here.

Thanks

Bought a few things.  Roughly 2 weeks turn around on shipping on the last two orders.  Last order came as separate courier packages for some weird reason.  Havent dealt with warranty but in saying that I wouldnt buy anything from an overseas company and actually expect any sort of warranty.

Check if the router has a telepermet if needed - for DSL ones it was last I checked. That would be why the local ones cost a lot more.

But I have issues with them now selling things over $400, not collecting the GST and just burying in their T&C's that you are liable for any import dutys and taxes.

That is not something that an honest business would do.

I got a power bank a couple weeks a go from them,  free shipping, product arrived a week after order placed, estimated time of arrival was 2 weeks and unlike skewt tracking was excellent.

i bought a 27" monitor of them and they sent regular emails on the order progress and they sent it when they said they would and it arrived undamaged, well within the time frame they stated . Would use again .

Common sense is not as common as you think.
