Went to Armageddon yesterday as I have done for the past few years, but this year left feeling a little.... disappointed I guess.

Yes, I know, I went on the last day so stock etc would probably be light here and there....

Was nothing that wow'ed me, just a re-hash of last years products - yes, there were the VR systems on show but large queues. (And even one lot charging $10 for 2mins of "virtually" walking the plank")

Was expecting more Overwatch merchandise but only things I found were dVa related, a Chinese knock off plush of Winston, and tshirts at Mightyape (I bought one). Even the cosplayers seemed to be very light on O/watch costumes....

EBGames had nothing of interest except their Disney Infinity figures going for $8 each (got a bunch we didnt already have) and R6:Siege collectors for $45.

Mightyape seemed light on products as well.....  maybe they had a mad rush on previous days.

PBTech had usual massive setup showing off their PC's, and I picked up a Zalman mouse mat ($45 on their site) for $15 - thing is huge, covers my entire desk :)

Technology wise, apart from VR, it mainly seemed to be drones..... everywhere there were drones for sale.

Next year, unless something brilliant is announced, I may give it a miss and go every 2 years instead.

We went on Sunday. Got a chance to play Sky Noon finally, which was pretty cool. Of course the son obliterated me, but it's his game so hardly surprising. The usual Armageddon money-making queues to see the celebs. Wasn't a bad afternoon.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
