Felt like I was on a Geekzone bus this morning.... get on, and two guys behind me are talking about Star Wars, and then video cards and headsets.....  they eventually got off the bus, and two women hop on and sit in the seats just vacated....and start talking about IT jobs and GoT.

The one day I forget my headphones to tune out....... ;)

Before I read the thread, I thought it sounded like you wanted to organise a GZ bus trip to somewhere.

I can picture a bunch of geeks sitting on a bus looking at the scenery - on their phones. laughing

That's not geeky. That's how everyone does these days.

Surely a proper geek bus trip would involve visiting various data centers, cell sites and cable landing stations, along with substations and radio antennas?

And every cabinet to check what its offering...... and stopping at every geeks house to check out their setup..... would be a bloody long trip :-p

Surely a real Geek bus trip would involve all of us sitting at home, whilst a bus containing a bunch of HD webcams (with pan/tilt of course) drives around the place.
